Dispatch
Our carrier collects in the early afternoon. Orders placed before 11.00am will normally be dispatched the same day (not at weekends or holidays). Orders received after 11.00am will normally ship on the next working day. Occasionally delays occur for reasons beyond our control, in which case you will be notified when your goods are due to be sent.
Note: If after 30 days we have still been unable dispatch your order we will contact you to request confirmation of the order. Cirrus Systems shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause.
Delivery
There are normally 2 delivery options, standard post or next working day (DHL/FedEx etc). The available delivery options are shown during the online checkout process. Above 1.5 kg it is cheaper to send on a next working day service and so the standard post option will not be available.
Delivery Costs
1. Standard post (whole of the UK): between £2.25 and £5.50 depending on weight, up to 1.5kg max
2. Next working day (UK mainland): First item up to 25kg - £5.95 (e.g. up to 4 x 4 litre tubs (boxed) or 1 x 20 litre pail - £5.95) and then up to £4.80 per additional item of up to 25kg.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles, Channel Islands and other UK islands will incur a surcharge. This will be added after the online order has been completed and will not be shown. Call us for more details. Deliveries to these locations may take longer than 1 working day.
Delivery charges are calculated according to the actual weight of the goods and delivery address. Liquids are relatively heavy for their size and can attract higher delivery costs. We offer our customers the best rates that we can negotiate with our carriers; we make no profit from delivery charges.
Deliveries are usually made Monday to Friday before 5.30pm. Please make sure that all addresses you provide are accurate and include postcode and recipients telephone number where possible to hasten a speedy and accurate delivery. Cirrus Systems Ltd cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery. Where incorrect or incomplete delivery information is supplied and goods are returned to us we reserve the right to charge a courier return fee. Please ensure that someone will be at the recipient’s address on the expected delivery date as all deliveries must be signed for. In the event of no one being available to sign, the courier will attempt delivery the next working day. The purchaser may incur a re-delivery charge to deliver the goods thereafter. Proof of Delivery of one or more product(s) shall be good evidence of delivery of the specific product(s) requested by the customer and no question shall be raised as to delivery of individual items therein.
